No. Although they are a step above humans in God’s creation, they are not to be worshiped. When John fell down to worship at the foot foot of the angel he was told; Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God! (Revelation 22:9) God also tells us in the first commandment: You shall have no other gods before me (Deuteronomy 5: 7), and in the second commandment: You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them…(Deuteronomy 5: 8, 9).
Since they are holy, are they to be worshiped?
